    A physically crosslinked, closed-cell polyolefin foam produced in continuous sheets in a three-stage process: extrusion, crosslinking, and horizontal foaming. The foam sheets have fine, round cells. The two foam skins are smooth and scratch resistant. Alveolen covers a broad spectrum of applications and is outstanding for demanding converting processes. The special advantages include: suitable for thicker products, scratch-resistant surface and very good press forming properties.
